Engr. Florence Seriki is the Managing Director/CEO of Omatek Computers Limited, a Nigerian computer manufacturing company.

At some point, the company branched out into supplying branded computer systems to Banks and Multinationals and eventually into full assembly of computers and accessories.
Today after about 24 years in existence, Omatek Ventures Plc stands holds a very enviable position as a market leader in the production and assembly of computers and related accessories. In fact Omatek Ventures Plc, is reputed to own the First Completely Knocked Down Computer Factories in Nigeria and Ghana.
Omatek was successful in unloading IBM into the market as was with Compaq, Toshiba and Macintosh. But she soon developed passion for local assembly of PCs and in 1993, the Omatek Computers were launched at the CTO, a flagship IT seminar and exhibition event organized yearly by the US Consular Office.
At its Ojota factory, Omatek Computers has become synonymous with the local manufacture of casing, mouse, key board and speakers. Seriki has been able to penetrate the public and private sectors with her Omatek brand. It is a strong testimony to her unrelenting spirit of enterprise in IT.
Mrs. Seriki obtained her Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ife (Obafemi Awolowo University), Ile-Ife and also holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Lagos Business School. She has received several awards for her innovation in the Nigerian I.T. industry and her contributions towards the improvement of I.T. awareness in Nigeria.
